Design Notes

(1) ADH sequence is codon optimized for Escherichia coli (2) 6-his tag added after ADH sequence (3) No STOP codon included, should be included immediately after 6-his tag.

Source

The ADH sequence in the actuator originally codes for Alcohol Dehydrogenase in Acetobacter pasteurianus. Amino acid sequence for Acetobacter pasteurianus can be found here: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/nuccore/NC_013211.1?from=15149
